Kansas City, MO (May 28, 2024): KCMO Rush, a premier soccer club dedicated to nurturing talent and fostering a passion for the game, is proud to announce the newest addition to its coaching and administrative team, Mollie Plas. Bringing a wealth of experience both on and off the field, Mollie joins KCMO Rush as a Staff Coach and assumes the role of Social Media Director.

Hailing from North Kansas City, Mollie Plas has soccer ingrained in her DNA. Her journey began on the fields of the Kansas City Athletics, where she honed her skills and developed a deep love for the sport. A standout athlete, Mollie continued her soccer career at the collegiate level, representing the University of Missouri-Kansas City for two seasons before concluding her playing days at Rockhurst University.

Beyond her prowess on the field, Mollie's passion for soccer is matched by her dedication to furthering her education. Currently pursuing her MBA in Marketing, Mollie combines her athletic experience with a keen understanding of modern marketing strategies, making her an invaluable asset to the KCMO Rush team both on and off the pitch.

In her role as Staff Coach, Mollie will leverage her extensive playing experience to mentor and develop the next generation of soccer talent within the KCMO Rush community. Her commitment to player development and her ability to inspire young athletes will undoubtedly leave a lasting impact on the club.

Additionally, as the newly appointed Social Media Director, Mollie will spearhead KCMO Rush's digital presence, engaging with fans, players, and the broader soccer community across various social media platforms. Her innovative approach and creative vision will help amplify the club's mission and elevate its online brand presence to new heights.
